“What is sinful under religion cannot be valid under the law” – Supreme Court
Getting respect is a fundamental right of every individual. One of the most important conclusions to be drawn through the abolishing of the Triple Talaq is that no Muslim will face such discrimination and injustice in their life in future.
The practice of Triple Talaq has always been a controversy in the entire world, but there are many Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Indonesia, Morocco & Turkey etc who has discontinued the practice of Triple Talaq, a long time ago.
In August 2017, Supreme Court of India has termed Triple Talaq as unconstitutional and many social, religious and legal observations have been produced against the practice of Triple Talaq.
The Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Bill, 2019 — popularly known as the triple talaq Bill, which was passed in the Lok Sabha in 1917, once again struggled to get the consensus among political parties. As a result Union Cabinet has approved certain amendments, including bail provisions for the accused before the trial. This law is currently under challenge in the Supreme Court and the Delhi High Court.
The session Triple Talaq- Saza Ya Azadi in National Student Parliament is dedicated to have productive exchange of thought and views for a concrete outcome further.
Unquestionably, there are many challenges in this wonderful country. Challenges such as population, environmental degradation, poverty of rural people, corruption, backwardness, etc; but these challenges are opportunities too. We can contribute to this change for the betterment by giving our best. Each one of us must do our job and responsibilities perfectly. If each one of us becomes efficient in our sphere of actions, India will automatically become best. All the challenges can easily be overcome provided the entire manpower and resources are utilized and used optimally under the right guidance of dedicated leaders. India can do wonders. India will do wonders surely. And that will happen only when the Indians set their hearts to make India the land of opportunities, growth, and prosperity with their words, deeds, and acts.

If a nation is to achieve invincible prosperity in the fields of health, finances, science, technology, and innovation, the people of that nation must adopt the principle of integrity as it is a divine quality; it augments energy, enthusiasm, creativity, fearlessness, purposefulness, and accomplishment. Applying integrity even in the minutest details, they must persevere in the fields above mentioned.
The current Government has chosen 2022 as the target year as it marks the completion of 75 years of independence. India’s journey towards freedom had never been easy and required a strong leadership like Mahatma Gandhi.
The session “Naye Bharat ka Naya Tevar- Nationalism to Economic slowdown “ will give a platform to show the youngsters that in order to achieve the goal of New India, India needs not only a strong political leadership but also responsible citizenry who are committed to the ideals of the constitution.
India being one of the world’s largest democracies celebration of election results is one of the most pious rituals. But when mandate given by the people is kept in fancy for the whims and caprice of political lust, a new tandem of power play rattles all. This is the stark reality of politics in India today. A fractured mandate does not permit any single party to form government on its own. No clear winner pushes parties to tow for alliance set up. On this threshold political ideologies are compromised and power driven leaders start bargaining. This then becomes the platform for conceding and crushing the ideals set of their own political party ideology. People in general as spectators of this mockery are left high and dry. It’s time that leaders of this privileged nation should stop playing with the morals of their own cause and set ideals before the young generation that ethics are meant for raising the bar and not for lowering the esteem.
On the 5th of August 2019 the Home Minister, Mr. Amit Shah revoked the Article 370, with the effect that Indian constitution will be fully applied in J&K . No special status and no more special constitution with its own laws would be given to J&K. The separate flag of J&K and dual citizenship is redundant now. Right to Education, Land Investment by citizens of other Indian states, reservation of minorities as well as implementation of policies directly by the Central Government is now possible. Kashmiri women can marry citizens of any Indian state without the fear of losing their citizenship. In short all rules and laws applicable in India will now be applied to J&K also.
