NATIONAL STUDENT PARLIAMENT
One of the most anticipated events of Raisoni, National Student Parliament (NSP) is a platform for students – the torchbearers of tomorrow – to debate on the issues concerning the country and society. This event has brought many curious participants and a team of eminent panelists together. For students from multiple colleges, NSP has been the stage for active participation that brings the best out in them. So far, more than 1500 colleges across the country have contributed to this outstanding Mock Parliament and made it bigger. Now in this 8th National Student Parliament 2021, we are expecting even greater involvement of youngsters as they still try to learn and comprehend the meaning and impact of various things.
Students are the torchbearer of democratic India and there is a strong need for them to get involved with active politics. In an endeavour to play an active role in addressing our country's need for democratic transformation of society, and giving students a glimpse of civic education, Raisoni Group of Institutions is organizing 8th National Student Parliament (NSP) on 22nd and 23rd January 2021.
In past seasons of NSP, Students from the various Universities of the country participated in the mock parliament and debated on various issues of national importance. This year too, we are committed to provide students an environment where educated and driven individuals can participate in Mock Parliament, thereby learning about parliamentary processes, at the best junction of their lives; enhancing their understanding of how bills become laws, scope and role of ministries.
Last year more than 1500 colleges across the country from various Universities participated in the mock parliament and debated on various issues of national importance. This year too, we are committed to provide students an environment where educated and driven individuals can participate in Mock Parliament, thereby learning about parliamentary processes, at the best junction of their lives; enhancing their understanding of how bills become laws, scope and role of ministries.
Several eminent professionals will be gracing NSP 2021 and interacting with young students, sharing their expertise and sowing the seed for students to play an active role in public life, contribute positively in the society they live, and build a stronger nation.
National Student Parliament is being organized with the assistance of GHR SONS EDUCATIONAL AND MEDICAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION, a nonprofit organization engaged in education and the Medical field. They regularly organize various educational programs for students.
