NATIONAL STUDENT PARLIAMENT
He is known for being a scholar and thinking General. He did his schooling from St. John’s School and St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi before going the National Defence Academy, Pune and India Military Academy, Dehradun. He is a graduate in Science from JNU, Master’s and M. Phil in Strategic Affairs and Defence Studies from University of Madras. He is Master’s in Management from Osmania University. He is an alumni of Staff College, Wellington and National Defence College, New Delhi.
He has a long and illustrious career in service to the nation for over 37 years. The General has vast experience of war and peace, in which he has always led his men from front. He is Kargil Veteran, Commando instructor, veteran of fighting insurgency and terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and North East states. He has been commander and team leader overseas and in foreign lands under the United Nations. For his gallantry, sterling leadership and devotion to duty for nation and world peace he has been awarded, Sena Medal (Gallantry), Vishisht Seva Medal and commendation of United Nations.
He is known Strategic Affairs and Defence Expert at national and international levels and also known for putting up his independent views forthrightly at various forums.
