NATIONAL STUDENT PARLIAMENT
Maj Gen JKS Parihar,SM ,VSM** (Retd) has a vast and rich experience in micro and macro management in the fields of health & civil assistance and disaster management as well as in handling critical medical affairs linked with Nuclear, Chemical and Biological warfare. As an able military and medical administrator, he has been greatly instrumental in steering the military medical research of wide spectrum with deliberate emphasis on high altitude research, aiming to enhance operational as well as medical well being of troops deployed in various terrain, geographical locations and environment.
He has actively contributed towards international military diplomacy among Asia Pacific, SAARC, US, and African countries as a nodal agency and member or leader of military diplomacy missions in SAARC countries. The general Officer has a strong flare to analyze international strategies and Defence operations and is well versed with the ever-changing complexities of global current affairs and their likely consequent challenges and future prospective on the country. He is a keen debater and writer in his chosen fields with excellent command on both Hindi and English creative ,scientific and professional communications.
In addition to Defence and international strategies, he has also established himself as an Ophthalmic Surgeon, researcher and community ophthalmologist of global eminence.
He carries the distinction of being honoured and acclaimed by higher echelon and professional bodies at both International and national level. The most prominent among them are Sena Medal ,Bar to Vishisht Seva Medal and Vishisht Seva Medal by the President of India and Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Appreciation Award 2016: conferred by The Govt of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan on 07 Jan 2016 for
